TWO arrests have been made after a recent spate of burglaries in the Ruthin area.

North Wales Police said the arrests were made as part of an ongoing investigation into the series of burglaries that targeted sheds and outbuildings in the area last month.

A total of 21 burglaries were reported to police between March 14 and March 26, with stolen items including tools and bicycles.

A police spokesperson said: "Two arrests have been made in relation to the recent spate of burglaries in the Ruthin area.

"Whilst the investigation continues, we urge anybody who may have information to contact us on 101 quoting reference 19100126870."
