THERE will be a chance to get energetic in the Vale of Clwyd this weekend.
After over 12 months of planning, the first Ruthin Parkrun will be held this Saturday, May 28.
The 5k run, which is open to experienced runners, beginners and walkers, starts and finishes at Ruthin Town Football Club in the Memorial Playing Fields and involves three laps, all including U-turns.

It starts at 9am.
The Ruthin venue is the 11th in North Wales and, in line with Parkruns throughout the world, participants must first download their barcode or their result will not be recorded.
Anyone willing to officiate on future Saturdays can register on the Ruthin Parkrun website.
