A TAKEAWAY in Ruthin has received a food hygiene rating of one, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.
Charcoal Grill, located at 31 Well Street, Ruthin was given the score after assessment on January 31.
The inspection report into the restaurant rated its hygienic food handling ‘Generally satisfactory’, the cleanliness and condition of facilities and building ‘Good’, while its management of food safety was rated ‘Major improvement necessary’.

The restaurant enjoys a TripAdvisor rating of 4.0, based on four reviews, with the most recent one from November 2022 stating they were “so glad” they ordered from there.
Charcoal Grill were approached for comment.
It means that of Denbighshire's 101 takeaways with ratings, 48 (48 per cent) have ratings of five and just two have zero ratings.
