A KIND-HEARTED pair of youngsters have raised more than £1,200 for a hugely worthy cause.
Tomi Llyr Jones and Elsi Denman-Roberts, both year five pupils at Denbigh's Ysgol Twm o’r Nant, helped raise an amazing £1,260 for Gofal Dydd y Waen Day Care, where Tomi's nain Val attended twice a week until she sadly died aged 65 last September.
Tomi helped his mother Sian organise a coffee and cakes afternoon at their home, which raised an amazing £1,160 for Gofal Dydd y Waen Day Care.

Meanwhile, Elsi, who is in the same class as Tomi at Ysgol Twm o'r Nant, very kindly donated £100 of the sponsorship money she had raised when cutting her hair for the Princess Trust. Gofal Dydd y Waen Day Care gives free care to those of all ages living with serious illness and provides complementary therapies for carers also free of charge.
