A POPULAR Indian restaurant in Denbigh closed its doors for the final time yesterday (July 30).
Saha Restaurant, at 30 High Street, announced its intent to close via social media on Thursday, 27 July, adding that it was an “honour” to have served customers in the area.
The restaurant gave no reason for its closure, other than adding that it was “unfortunate”.
The business, which specialised in North Indian cuisine and flavours, reopened under new management at the end of 2022.

In a post on social media, Saha said: “Unfortunately, we're closing down on Sunday.
“We appreciate the love and support that the people of Denbigh have given us. We had a great time here. Thank you.”
Residents took to social media to praise the restaurant, with one saying it was “such a shame that people locally have never taken to dining out for Indian cuisine in sufficient numbers to sustain the business when it's been open.”
Another resident said the closure was “so sad”, adding they had “wonderful food” from Saha, while another said the closure was “another blow for Denbigh”.
