A DAZZLING truck convoy involving more than 100 trucks and vans returned to Ruthin.

The festive procession, which took place on Saturday, December 9, raised money for two charities: North Wales Superkids and Neuro Therapy Centre.

A tractor also took part.

Phil Hazel, organiser who launched a gofundme page, said: "The Convoy of Lights has been going since 2016 and has raised many thousands of pounds for local charities and individual families around Ruthin.

Phil also took to social media on Sunday to say: "Well what can I say but a huge thank you to all the drivers for joining in the fun and conducting yourselves with great profession.

"Also I would like to give a big shout-out to Kerri and Lesley for doing the paperwork and all the volunteer Marshall's and friends went above and beyond

"Also local businesses who gave up their time and gave donations your contributions are very much appreciated.

"Without all of your combined efforts the event would not go so smoothly.

"Many thanks to you all."
