DANCING on Ice's Amber Davies channelled Barbie for 'Movie Week'.

Amber, of Denbigh, and her pro-skater partner Simon Proulx-Sénécal, were the second couple to make it though to next week's show. S Club 7 star Hannah Spearritt, who had a “nasty fall” during rehearsals, left the show after the public vote.

Amber, a former Ysgol Glan Clwyd pupil in St Asaph, and Simon scored an impressive 31.0 and topped the leaderboard after their performance to What Was I Made For? by Billie Eilish.

Prior to her performance, the West End star said: "My first skate was one of the best moments of my life.

"I had my mum and nana come to watch."

She added: "I said to Simon I wanted to do a lift that had never been done on Dancing on Ice.

"We are doing a lift called the scorpion. My head is very close to the Ice. I was petrified."

Amber's mum Susan, nan Jeannette and boyfriend Ben Joyce were supporting the 27-year-old in the audience tonight (January 28).

Judge Oti Mabuse praised the former Love Island star for "challenging" herself.
